Are you looking for other Jewish recipes to serve on Hanukkah or other times of the year? Try The New York Times Jewish Cookbook More than 825 Traditional & Contemporary Recipes from Around the World” Edited by Linda Amster. Taken from the food pages of the New York Times the recipes explore Jewish cuisine from the Ashkenazic and Sephardic traditions along with American Jewish traditions.
If you are looking for something a bit easier to access than the New York times try Jewish Cooking for Dummies by Faye Levy. This series of books, in their bright yellow and black covers, are not as simple as they seem. It includes 100 well tested recipes you can add to your holiday tradition. If you are interested in wine of any kind the “Wine for Dummies” books are excellent.
