If you would just like to serve a nice
cheese tray and are looking for some good descriptions pick up a
copy of
French Cheeses:
The Visual Guide to More Than 350 Cheeses from Every Region of France
by Joel Robuchon. This book will have you salivating in no time.
The photographs (of every cheese) is the most amazing part of the
book, but the descriptions, which include region, milk type, essential
facts and detailed aroma and taste guide make this book a must have
for the cheese lover or anyone who plans to eat their way through
France. May I suggest you start with the double and triple cream
sections, they are my favorites. |
